Personal Statement

I want to swim with a program where I can contribute to the team's success while preparing for my future career in the field of psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, physical therapy or kinesiology. I want to make a positive impact from my first day on the pool deck. In high school, I enthusiastically promote our team culture by encouraging, challenging and supporting my teammates through the highs and lows. I push myself to excel in the classroom and in the water, making sure to have some fun along the way. I joined Swimmers for Change, and am learning how I can make a difference in the world. I am excited, honored and humbled to serve as a senior captain on my beloved Groves High School swim and dive team!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
