I first started swimming when I was 7 years old. Since I started I've always wanted to swim at a college level. Swimming in college is an amazing opportunity that will not only affect my college experience but my life as a whole.
When it comes to swimming I see myself as very competitive with not only the times but also the technique to succeed in college. On my high school team I see myself as a team leader and try to set a good example by encouraging everybody around me and working hard in practice. I am one of the captains on my high school team. I'm a good natured team-mate and try to be there for my team whenever they might need me. I am very coachable. I strive to be one of the hardest working recruits you'll find.
Outside of the pool I work hard in the classroom to maintain a high GPA. Outside of school I volunteer occasionally at a neighborhood for Autistic adults called Benjamin's Hope. At Benjamin's Hope I help decorate for big events or Holidays such as Christmas and their big fall festival.
I hope to attend a college that will push me to succeed not only in the pool but also in the classroom. I am open to all options and I want to school match with the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model and to make my family and my friends proud of what I will accomplish.
