I have enjoyed swimming competitively since I was about 8 years old. I have competed in multiple meets around the country. I have competed in both Short (Fremont, NE) and Long course championships (Lincoln, NE). In the first year of my high school career, I qualified for state championships in two relays (200 medley and 200 free relays). In my sophomore year, I competed at the state level in four events as well as 4 events my junior year. I am so very grateful for the opportunity to swim at the high school level while still attending Arlington. Arlington has a co-op with Fremont so I am able to swim for Fremont while still being a student at Arlington High School. I am a three-sport athlete competing at the varsity level in Volleyball, Swimming, and Track and Field. Being this competitive I understand what it feels like to win and lose. I always strive to find a way to learn from it and improve upon it for the next time. Swimming is by far my favorite sport and I look forward to having an opportunity continue competing at the next level. My leadership skills have shown through in FFA (Future Farmers of America) by being a chapter officer for three years now. I also have been an assistant coach for the local recreational swim team during the summer. I am an honor student and strive for excellence in the classroom as well as in the pool. I plan to become a veterinarian in the future.
