Claire Gallob '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Claire Gallob and I have been a competitive swimmer with Las Vegas Swim Club for the past 9 years, currently on the National Team.   I am sixteen years old and a Junior at Faith Lutheran High School. It has been my goal to swim competitivley in college since high school because I feel that it will make my college experience unforgettable. I love to push myself and see the improvements meet after meet as well as seeing all of my teammates improve. My teammates push me to be the best I can be and I think it is very important that a team has mutual respect, good communication, and common goals. I always try to do the best work I can do no matter if it's in the pool or in a classroom. School has always been a top priority in my life and I have been able to keep my GPA to a 3.8 throughout high school. I think a great quality about me is that I don't see failure as a setback, I see it as an opprotunity to learn and grow. I swim 6 days a week for either 2 hours or 2 and a half hours and I have 3 days of dryland (one day at the gym). Thank you for looking at my profile and I lookforward to hearing from you!
