Hi! I am Abigail Turco. I am a junior at Dryden High school. I have been swimming competitively since 7th grade, but I have always loved swimming since I was little. Ever since I started swimming on varsity my coaches have helped me to do my very best and push me harder to reach my goals. I am a hard worker and always try my best to reach my personal records and do better to beat them. I like to think of myself as a positive person and help my teammates to stay positive to. I always strive to do my best in school on tests and deadlines. I get my work turned in on time. Exceeding and working hard in school is important to me, having good grades allows me to play softball and to swim. Being an athlete and student help me to exceed in my job as well, as a lifeguard being able to save people means being physically fit which means being able to swim laps and have muscle to help save/help people who need it. I had shoulder issues my sophomore year and the process of getting them better. Being able to swim my junior year with no pain knowing the working out and PT helped I became very interested in athletic training. I am hoping to start working towards my goals to be an athletic trainer by going in to a New Visions program my school offers. I am always trying to become a better athlete and person, whether that’s in school or sports. I love swimming and hope to swim in the future! I hope to further my swim career at a higher level. Thank you for considering me!
