Vanessa Wilcox '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Vanessa Wilcox. I'm a 17 year old junior, attending Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, New York. Unfortunately, my high school does not have a swim team, so I attend regular practices at my club team, Nufinmen Swim Club. My coach, Robert Trotman, is one of my greatest inspirations in life. In school, I excel in my science classes, and hope to study a science in college. Some of the majors that interest me are Chemistry, Biology, Forensic Science and Economics. The size of the school I attend means little to me, as long as I am comfortable in my environment. My greatest hope to earn scholarship money in both academics and athletics, and to swim throughout my college career.
