Emma Rideout-Mann '21 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to be the absolute best person I can be on a day to day basis, both in the pool and out. Life can be tough and being able to manage, yet accomplish, set goals constantly requires motivation and determination. This can feel overwhelming to maintain, so I love to schedule my life in order to encourage self-confidence. I began swimming competitively during the eighth grade at almost 14 years old; definitely late by most people's standards. No matter what, I have always pushed my hardest, which led me to realize my interest for swimming was more than just a fun hobby. Soon, it became a full-blown passion that I have been pursuing in order to meet the same goals as those swimming around me for ten, not four, years. I am an accomplished student, involved within my community, and dedicated swimmer that is looking forward to finding the right academic, and swim team fit for who I am as a person.
