Scarlett Duncan '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming for as long as I can remember. At the age of 7 I started competitive swimming with SwimMac, moving up the ranks and currently swim in the Senior division with the club. About the time I turned 12, I realized swimming is a passion near to my heart. I recently have gotten to be an important part of my high school's Regional and State Championships in my Freshman (2020), Sophomore(2021) year, and Junior (2022) year.

I truly have a Knight athlete type mindset. I may not have the best communication skills, but I work hard on achieving my individual goals. I highly respect my coaches, work hard on clean technique and try to avoid mistakes. I'm a great listener and will truly give honest efforts where work need to be done. I am a quiet introvert and hear the details in instruction to better my swims. Rules are important to me and keeps things black and white.

2020 presented some challenging efforts with the pandemic to get into the water but I still managed to drop time and improve my skill sets. I find making a successful strides in improving yourself and together as a team is more important than winning all the time. Believe in me and I'll give you my best.
