Leyna Swanson '23 Recruiting Profile

I have always been told I am coachable. When I have problems, especially with my technique I want to fix it for the better of my team. Swimming for me has always been an important role especially since relationships have been formed and my leadership qualities continue to grow. The sport has always been there as an outlet and to just have fun. My Freshman and Sophomore year I was a qualifier for  Sectional’s and Districts in the OHSAA tournament. My junior year I was lucky enough to advance to states. Swimming has truly become my first love and my safe space to grow as a swimmer and as a person.
