Nora Kunsman '26 Recruiting Profile

My strongest events are the 50-yard freestyle, the 100-yard freestyle, and the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays. I competed at the Northwest Ohio Classic in Bowling Green on December 16th, 2023. I placed first in preliminaries with a time of 24.42, and I was seeded first going into finals. In finals, I was the champion with a 24.28 in the 50-yard freestyle and runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle with a 53.72. I swam the 200-yard freestyle and 400-yard freestyle relays and split a 24.03 in the 200-yard freestyle and 55.20 in the 400-yard freestyle. I went to the state meet in 2023 as a freshman and finished 11th in the state for the 50-yard freestyle. In 2024, I returned to the OHSAA Division II state meet in three events and split a 52.75 in the 400-yard relay as the last leg. I then placed 9th in the state in the 100-yard freestyle and finished the meet in 5th place in the championship heat of the 50-yard freestyle with a 23.93, making 1st Team All-Ohio in the 50-yard freestyle and 2nd Team All-Ohio in the 100-yard freestyle. I have also been a starting varsity volleyball player since my freshman year, and a three-time president of my high school class.
