Brooke Boske '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a junior at Hoover High School in North Canton, Ohio.  In my early years I attended Canton Montessori and later Orchard Hill Elementary where I was placed in the gifted Galaxy Program. I continued in the gifted program throughout middle school and participated in the Discover Program. In middle school I swam, played volleyball, participated in running club and ran track for one year. I successfully completed the Kumon Math and Reading Program by the end of my eighth grade year. During High School I have earned a 4.0.  I am currently taking CCP Pre-Calc and the majority of my other subjects are honors classes. Even with this rigorous schedule I still find time to be involved in several school clubs such as Leadership, Student Counsel, Agape Girls, Prom Committe and Spanish Club.

I began swimming competitively at the age of 10.  I have been blessed to swim for some great coaches during my short career.  I swam for DeDe Dearnbarger on the North Canton YMCA Nemesis swim team for 5 years and for Mike Davison on CCS Swim Team last year.  Both have great reputations in our community as accomplished coaches. I have been fortunate to swim on one of the best high schools teams in the state of Ohio. These programs helped me continue to reach new personal records yearly but I feel that I have a great deal of unrealized potential and will continue to improve my times as I reach for higher goals. Swimming is also a large part of my life outside of the swim team season.  I lifeguard and coach at the local country club in the summer months.
