Hi my name is Annie Berrow. I am a multi-sport athlete, and I also maintain a 3.9 GPA. I am someone who sets goals for myself, and will work hard to obtain them. Freshman year of high school, I went to State for Cross country as a team, I qualified in the 200 free relay for Swimming, and for Track and Field, I qualified for state in 4x800 relay, we ended up winning it for the Division 1 State Championship as well as winning state as a team. Sophomore year I decided to give up cross country in the fall to join a club swim team and focus on my training for swimming. I have had a love for swimming ever since I was 8 years old and I wanted to work on becoming stronger to improve my techniques as well as my stamina and endurance to help reach my goals of making it to state as an individual the upcoming year. I ended up not qualifying for state by 0.04 seconds, however, that only motivated me more for my junior year. Junior year, I qualified not only in the 50 free, but also the 100 free and my 200 free relay. During my off seasons, summer & fall, I focus on strength training and swimming for a club team to prepare me for my high school season. I take honors classes, as well as AP, and CCP. I want to major in Exercise Science, and minor in Nutrition. I am interested in working in the field of sports therapy. I am interested in minoring in nutrition because through my personal training, i've learned how fueling your body with the right food is a very import aspect in any athletes lifestyle. It excites me to learn more about nutrition and sports therapy to help others through training and preparation to excel in their athletic aspirations.
