Personal Statement

I want to swim in college because I love doing it now and I can't imagine not doing it. I want to be able to balance swimming with school and be an excellent student athlete. I would be a great candidate for any team because I'm coachable, I can take criticism, I always strive to do my best and I'm a team player. I could be different because I don't let things get to me, if I have a bad race or a bad meet I shake it off and think about how much better I could do in the next one. Academically, I always go above and beyond. I push myself to do my best and keep my GPA higher than a 4.0.  I would say that my character is different because I strive for other people to do great, I try my hardest to put others before me, and cheer everyone on whether in sports, academics, or life in general.
