2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have been swimming competitively since I was 7. This sport has been a big part of my life and I could not imagine giving up the sport. I give my 110% everyday and fully intend to continue in college. The same attitude can be seen in my academics, where I have above a 4.0 GPA. I have a strong work ethic inside and outside of the pool, and am never satisfied with underdelivering. My dedication to this sport has shown, as I have won "Most Dedicated" on my high school team and also was chosen to be a Senior Captain for the 2019 High School Swim season.
My favorite events are the 200 IM and 200 butterfly, but I am often used where I am needed. I am competitive in many strokes and am not limited to just one. I have developed a strong bond with my high school coach because he knows that I will never complain about my events.
