This was my first winter Jr Nationals meet. I had personal bests in both the 100 breast (1:05.90 dropped to 1:03.86) and 200 breast (2:26.49 dropped to 2:20.86). In the 200 medley relay, I swam the breaststroke leg in 28.91 - a PB. And in the 400 medley relay, I swam the breaststroke leg in a 1:02.34 - a PB.

2017 YMCA Long Course Nationals
7/31/17 to 8/04/17
This was my third trip the YMCA Long Course Championships. I was seeded 53rd and placed 1st in the C Final of the 200m breaststroke. In the 100 beast, I was seeded 20th and came in 1st in the B Final. In addition, I was seeded 62nd in the 50M breast and finished 3rd overall. Finally, I was on the 200 medley relay that came in 5th. Our women's YMCA National team finished 2nd and the entire team finished 3rd. During this meet, I qualified for the 2017 Winter Junior Nationals Championship in the 100 breaststroke and a bonus event for the 200 breaststroke.

This was my first YMCA Short Course National Championship. I was seeded 108th in the 200 Breast and finish 76th with a personal best time. In the 100 Breast, I was seeded 58th and finished 40th with a new personal best time. In addition, I swam on the 400 med relay that finished 3rd overall and on the 200 med relay that won the B final. Finally our women's team became the YMCA National champions for the 2nd year in a row.
