ZOE GARCIA '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a junior at Tuloso-Midway High School in Corpus Christi, Texas. I would love to go to a school that is both academically and athletically challenging. I have been swimming for over 10 years and dream of extending it into college. I aspire to attend a division two school, however, I'd be satisfied going anywhere to continue my love and passion for swimming. I am extremely persistent and dedicated in everything I do, especially swimming and academics. I know that I have much to learn when it comes to swimming, but every day I work towards reaching my full potential and improving my times. Teachers, coaches, and students alike, all tell me I am an outstanding leader and an amazing role model in and out of both the pool and school. I encourage my fellow athletes to push themselves in the pool and academically. I even tutor some of my teammates to help get their grades up. I am currently interested in Child Psychology and Child Education and would like to attend a flexible college that will allow me to test the water before I jump in.
