Hello,
My name is Victoria Kunselman. My first collegiate goal is to attain a quality education. My second goal is to excel in my sport of swimming. I have faced challenges most of my life. At the age of 12 I became a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. At 13 I was a Texas finalist in the National American Miss Pageant. I started swimming when I was 8 and have been swimming competitively ever since. I swim for my high school and my clubs, Lakeside Aquatic and currently SIGMA. In high school I am an A/B Honor Roll student and a member of the National Honor Society. I made varsity as a freshman, was voted freshman of the year and currently hold two records. In addition, I was voted Most Valuable Swimmer in my Sophomore and Junior years. I was also named athlete of the week three times. While I don't like to fail, I am not afraid to make mistakes. I feel one can't succeed without learning from mistakes. I strongly believe in being respectful not just to my parents and coaches but to my teammates, friends and fellow students.
