Throughout my life my parents have instilled discipline, a hard-work ethic, plus the desire to be self-driven and motivated. Being a child of a father who is a combat veteran and a mother entering her 20th year of teaching, resilience and perseverance are part of our family culture.
My collegiate goals and aspirations are to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Real Estate at a well-respected academic university. I aspire to work under the guidance of swim coaches who have established a championship tradition and have set the standard of excellence among collegiate swimmers. With my coach’s assistance, guidance, and molding culminate among Top 16 at Conference in a participating event.
Life-long skills of time management, resilience, leadership, and ability to effectively work independently and contribute to a team are some of my assets. These skills transpire in and off the pool. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my academic high school years. Demonstrated grit in my social and family life while balancing 3 practices a day with high school and club coaches, actively participating in Strings Orchestra as Sergeant at Arms and actively displaying a leadership role as the Women’s Swimming Varsity Captain.
Respectfully,
Daniela Garza
