MJ Anderson '25 Recruiting Profile

I love swimming and diving.  My primary strokes are Breastroke and Freestyle, but have competed successfully with my IM, also.  Istarted swimming competitively at age eight, swimming year-round for 3 1/2 years with the USA Swimming (PNS) club team, Thunderbirds Aquatic Club, in Anacortes, WA I qualifed for Districts and State in both 1 meter springboard dive and Breaststroke each of my four years in high school and both Medley and Freestyle Relays Team cohesion is very important to me, so I put effort into relationship-building and being flexible about which events and roles I fill on a team.  This year I competed on the Fall team and managed and informally coached both development-level swimmers and divers on the Winter team.  I am employed by the pool as a lifeguard and have parents request me by name to teach swimming to their preschool and elementary age children.
