Lila McGeachy '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lila McGeachy. I'm a student athlete at Camas High School and a member of the Columbia River Swim Team. I started swimming year round my freshman year of high school, before that I played multiple club sports. During my freshman year of high school, I was able to obtain my first sectional cut.  

Time management and schedule efficiency have helped me excel in the water and as a student athlete. Currently I manage school, swimming, piano, choir and extra curricular activities. I started piano when I was in 1st grade and much like swimming, I love it. Piano has taught me discipline, structure and perseverance  throughout the years. Choir, while also being one of my favorite classes, has taught me how to work on a team towards a common goal. I can sometimes be seen singing the national anthem prior to a high school swim meet. Both of these activities have helped develop me as a student, teammate, swimmer and person.  

I am currently pursuing my future cuts in the 500, 1000, 1650 free as well as the 200 fly.
