Medea Rusu '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Medea Rusu. I am a 2025 student athlete at Ridgefield High School in Ridgefield, Washington. I swim club at Columbia River Swim Team in Vancouver, Washington, where I have been for 4 years. 

Swimming has greatly improved my teamwork and time management skills, along with teaching me great discipline. My goal is to continue my swim career and education at a 4-year university. I am a natural leader and am always willing to take risks, especially when it comes to my swimming. I am observant and a quick learner, which has helped me work with many coaches in the past. 

I am currently pursuing my sectionals cuts in the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke.
