Samantha Foster '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Samantha Foster, I am 16, and I am from Vancouver Washington. I am a swimmer. But not just any swimmer I am a dedicated, hardworking, and responsible swimmer. I am at every practice that  I can be at. I keep my GPA above a 3.5 and I take all honors and one AP class. I work hard every day to become a better person and athlete. This past High school season (my  freshman year) at my school Mountain View High school I have been put on the varsity team and I have gone to state in the 100 breaststroke, 200 Medley relay, and the 400 freestyle relay. I consider myself a sprinter, but I do also do well in the 200 breaststroke and 400 IM. I have been swimming for 4 years and I do not plan on stopping. My big goals this season are to break the 1:05 in my 100 breaststroke, to go a 24 in my 50 freestyle, and to break 2:30 in the 200 breaststroke. I also plan on making the Olympics in 2020 or 2024. I love swimming so much and being a college swimmer is one of my big goals in life. I want to make it far in swimming and I love it so much I cannot explain what the sport means to me in words. I know you will consider me for your team because no matter what I leave it all in the pool.
