Personal Statement
My swimming career all started in November of 2012. I hadn't swam since I was eight years old due to the fact that where I went to school didn't have a pool and I didn't have the right coach when I was youger (she made me hate swimming.) I missed swimming, I wanted to give it another shot. Although I knew I wasn't going to be as good as I was when I was younger that was not going to stop me. I got back in the pool and worked as hard as I could. I transferred schools so I could have the facilities to train. Doing so has gotten me where I am right now. I know that this is just a starting point and I have much more ahead of me. I hope to one day swim for a D1 college. From there, I want to compete at the NCAA's and go to the olympic trials, maybe even further. All in all, I want to take my swimming as far as I can and that comes with finding people who can help me get there.
Swimming isn't my only strong point I also am a very high achiever in the classroom, my grades are very important to me. All throughout middle school I was on the high honor roll. Now, in high school that still hasn't changed. My GPA remains at a 4.0 and I plan to keep it that way.
