My swim journey began when I was just a baby at the Beloit Family YMCA. My dad brought me to AquaBabies every week and slowly, but surely, my love for the water began to develop. Swimming has taught me that anything is possible and how to work hard every day for what I want in life. I’ve always been very competitive and I love the feeling of racing, whether it be in a FastSkin and tapered or the first race of a brand new season.
While I thoroughly enjoy my time spent at the pool, I take great pride in my schoolwork as well. I have always wanted to become an ophthalmologist and hope to see that dream come true in my college years. If I became part of any college swimming team, I would bring a competitive aura and my drive to become the best that I can be.
