
2016 HighlightsI am a person completely consumed by the desire to see what I can do. In the water that is putting as much as possible into every training session and competition and in the classroom pushing myself to get the best test scores and the best grades out of my entire class. I have only been swimming competitively for six years. During that time I also played competitive soccer for 5 years and competed in Cross Country running and Track for multiple years. Because of my relative newness to the sport of swimming, my participation in multiple sports, and my Club’s low intensity approach to training, I do not feel like I am anywhere close to reaching my full potential as a swimmer.
I am looking for a College swimming team with a high intensity training program and rigorous academic standards where I can help the team and strive to reach my full potential as a swimmer and a student.
My goals for high school are to graduate at the top of my class with a 4.0 GPA, to help my swimming team to a top three finish at State, to help the relays I am on be State Champion relays, and to make All-State in my individual events. My goals for College are to do very well in school and get accepted into one of the top medical schools in the Country while competing in swimming at the highest level of the division I am in. Upon completion of my academics I plan to be a Sports Medicine doctor and I would like to work with elite athletes.
