Alyssa Pritchett '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Alyssa Pritchett and I am currently attending Azusa High School, Azusa, California. Beginning at the age of eight, I began playing tennis for recreational purposes, however not until have I enrolled in High School have I been competing competitively. From my freshman year I was chosen for varsity #1 doubles and placed 4th in conference. The following year I became #1 singles and captain of varsity, placing 6th in conference. This preceding year I challenged and pushed myself to do better my junior season. After all my hard work and dedication I became Montview Conference Singles Champion and leading my team to 3rd place in conference. Tennis has taught so much both on and off the court. It has given me strength and motivation which allows me to become successful in the academic area. So because of the success I have had in tennis, I hope for it to bring me to my ultimate goal of achieving a higher education. As difficult as it is to play at such a competitive level, I plan to bring patience, dedication, and leadership to my team. Lastly, I appreciate whoever reads this, because I know taking the time to read this requires a sacrifice out of their schedule and I plan on returning the favor.
