Hello fellow coaches, I am Cindy Lin, a current sophomore at Cupertino HS. I've been playing tennis for 3 years now, but I will most likely blow your minds. I started off just playing tennis as a game with some friends, then once I started really getting interested in the game, I took group lessons at my local tennis club. Besides tennis class once a week, I also practiced about every day for many hours during the summer, hitting on the wall, asking random people to rally with me... etc. Tennis just slowly became such a big part of my life as my day just doesn't feel right without picking up my racket and hitting tennis balls. Then, after my coaches at the group camps started to see my potential, they wanted me to sign up for competitive training and maybe find a private coach. That's when I started becoming competitive and focused more on my technique which would benefit me in the long term rather than smacking the ball hard. Anyways, I'm passionate about what I play and do, tennis, even though there are many bumps and bruises in the process of becoming an awesome tennis player, I don't think I'll give up until I do.
