Sport has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Whether competing in volleyball, soccer, tennis, sailing, track, or as an equestrian, I always put my heart into the game and try my absolute hardest. I don't only try my hardest in athletics, but academics as well. I have a 4.1 GPA, and have been the class president as a freshman and sophomore in high school. Although I have played many sports competitively, I have never solely focused on just one sport until now. Tennis is not only my favorite sport to play, but the sport that I have decided to dedicate 100% of my time to these last couple years of highschool. I have played tennis for about 8 years, but I have decided that competing in USTA tournaments on the weekends in the winter, and my highschool team in the fall is not enough for me to get to the next level. This is why I am moving from Lake Arrowhead to Palm Desert for my junior year of highschool. By doing this I will be able to compete in an intense level of tennis all year round. I will be playing for my highschool team, practicing with a club 3 to 5 days a week, having private lessons, and competing in level 4 and 5 USTA tournaments on the weekends. My ultimate goal is to get my tennis level to the highest it can be for college. And I guarantee that I will work my hardest to make sure I am both athletically and academically prepared.
