Hi, my name is Rachel Sutton. I am currently a 5"9', 140 pound junior at Carroll High School in Fort Wayne, IN where I play #1 singles on the varsity tennis team. I am interested in playing tennis at the highest possible level in college while pursuing a degree in the Education area. Geographically, I am open to pursue the best opportunity for both tennis and academics.
Personally, I love to compete in tennis and am always willing to play against the best competition. Additionally, I have learned to be resilient as I have fully recovered from a broken foot which sidelined me for the summer of 2010. As a freshman at Carroll (Coach Kyle Stoffel) I went 19-5 and was named First-Team All Conference, All-Area, and Honorable Mention All-State. Additionally, I currently play in all levels of USTA Midwest tournaments, and also participate in the Pine Ridge Racquet Club Tournament Training Center (coach Jon Bemisderfer).
During my sophomore year I achieved a record of 23-3 at number one singles. I was named Second Team All-State, All-District, First Team All-Conference, and Team MVP.
