Personal Statement

Tennis is more than a sport, it's my life. Hello, my name is Rebecca Rhodes. I started playing tennis in 6th grade but got cut from the middle school team, but I knew I wanted more. I started doing tennis clinics multiple times a week, constantly improving my skills. The next year I made the team playing mid-JV, but I loved it. Playing tennis and the comradery of my team was amazing. I have continued these clinics year-round since my 6th grade year and placed one varsity singles for my 8th grade year. Freshman year I enjoyed playing varsity and I'm looking forward to a future in tennis. When I'm not at clinics, practices or private lessons, I can be found on the tennis court, practicing solo or with anyone willing to join me. The tennis court is my happy place, and I will be playing for the rest of my life.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
