  • 8/16/19 to 8/18/19
  • Went into the Tournament unseeded. Won my first round match 6:3 6:3. Won Quarter Final match 6:0 6:0. Won the Semi-Final Match 6-7(5)7-57-6(3). Took out the #1 Seed Player (top 100 in Canada) in a 4-hour thriller match. Advanced to the final where I played the #2 Seed. Was down 1:4 as I was tired from the last match. Came back to make it more equal 4:5. Rain delay occurred, pushing the match 4 days into the week to resume. Unfortunately suffered an arm injury, then losing 4:6 3:6. Nonetheless, an amazing tournament.

  • Cross-Fit athlete. Training 2-3 times a week. Used as cross training to build strength and explosiveness in my tennis game.

  • I have the most success in the triple jump, 400 m, and the 800 m. I qualified for the Eastern Regional Conference in the 400m. I enjoy running and it greatly improves my endurance on the court

I will complete the french DELF exam at the end of grade 12. I was awarded recognition of contribution to the athletic program in the sport of tennis in grade 10 from my school. I was awarded the school computer science award in grade 10. I was chosen the role of Student Liaison for my school in grade 10. I participated in the Gauss -8-Pascal-9-Cayley-10 and Fermat -11-University of Waterloo Mathematics and Computing competition. Awarded with distinction in the Gauss contest. I reached ahead one year and I completed the 12U computer science course last semester and finished with a 96%. I participated in the Beaver Computing Challenge by the University of Waterloo in grade 10. I participated in the picoCTF Carnegie Mellon university Cybersecurity Competition in grande 10 and 11
  • Activities I became a Tennis Canada and TPA Certified Tennis Instructor and passed with Honors. I have advocated with my father at a public city meeting for the possible opening of an indoor racquet facility. School leadership roles: PVNCVC board student Liaison gr 10/11/12. Student council member gr 11/12/. School Link leader gr 11/12/. Peer tutor gr11. Mathematics and computer science: I joined the school's investment education group in gr 10. The experience inspired me to take an accounting course during the summer after grade 10. Alongside my friend in the 12U computer science course, we started a used battery collection drive in my school. The drive helped to deviate the harsh chemicals of used batteries away from landfills. I was one of 5 girls at our school to be a leader in our school's first HackerGal Hackathon. The initiative was to introduce the world of computer programming to girls in elementary school. I was offered the position as a Teen Ambassador for Canada Learning Code.
