Personal Statement

Hi my name is Maya Levy. I am currently a Junior and captain of Islip High School’s Varsity tennis team. I love the competitive, physical and mental parts of tennis. Each time I step on the court, I am challenged by all the new variables. As much as I enjoy the independent aspect of tennis, I also love being part of a team. I believe I have an innate skill as a tennis player and have been coached over the years to hone in on my abilities. I’d be a strong asset to any team that is need of a smart, coachable, competitive and determined player. I look forward to bringing my game to the next level.
