Julia Valkanova '25 Recruiting Profile

       My name is Julia Valkanova and I am a determined and ambitious tennis player from Buffalo, NY. From the age of 7, I was inspired by professional tennis on television and first hit the ball at that age. I always tried to gain more knowledge for the sport and still enjoy watching tennis. I'm a hard working student that takes school seriously, while also training frequently on the tennis court. I'm looking forward to exploring my options with collegiate tennis, while still putting academics first. Competing on a motivated team is important to me because I'm driven and goal focused. My major that I would like to pursue is English. I have had high honor roll grades my entire school life and studied hard. Tennis is one of my passions and I have a strong love for the game. I look forward to continue playing in college.
