I am a 5'3" 130lb senior at Klamath Union High School, in Klamath Falls, OR. I am taking all advanced class, and my GPA is 3.90. I am a two sport varsity athlete competing in cross country and tennis. I was voted MVP my Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior year. Freshman year I was second at Special District 3 and placed in the top eight at State. Sophomore year I placed first at Special District 3 and placed in the top eight at State. Junior year I placed first at Special District 3 and top eight at State. I practice year round, but it is difficult for my family to travel to many tournaments since we live in such a remote area. I try to play as many USTA tournaments as possible throughout the summer and during the year. I mostly play champs and I have just started playing Open tournaments to help prepare me for the collegiate level of play.
I pride myself on hardwork, determination to become better, being mentally strong, commitment, and coachability. I am looking for a school that will allow me to strive academically and challenges me to excel as an athlete. I understand that the step up to college studies and athletics is huge, but I am confident in my ability to become a teammate on and off the court. I will also be applying for FAFSA support. Thank you for taking time to look at my recruiting profile.
