I have learned that patience and the euphoria for something I love to do is the biggest virtue to have as a growing athlete. My ultimate aspiration in life is to be happy not only for myself but for other people that either look up to me and surround me in my community. Since the end of freshman year I've had this epiphany of wanting more in life than what others expect out of me. I became developing this obsession of craving victory internally and mentally with myself in Tennis. This new surge of energy sprouted from the words, "I can't". I went into my freshman districts dipped in anxiety thinking how much better the other schools at the district were, but the empowerment of "I can't" turned to "I can and I will". The results showed in my sweat and pain taking home the gold medal.
