Hello, my name is Sage Foster. I am a student at Lee High School, where I am part of the Dance Magnet Ensemble, and I also attend Drake State Community College. Additionally, I am a musician, playing both the oboe and saxophone in the Huntsville Youth Orchestra.
I actively participate in Track & Field, Varsity Volleyball, and Girls Tennis. As a multi-sport athlete, I have faced the challenge of maintaining my individuality while excelling in each discipline. My dedication and relentless effort set me apart. Regardless of external circumstances or internal doubts, I remain committed and never stop striving for excellence.
Despite having only one year of experience in track and field and just two months of dedicated training, I have never quit. Both on and off the track, I push myself to excel academically and mentally. While some may be naturally gifted, I believe in perseverance and continuous improvement.
As an oboist, I have explored new depths of creativity and mental resilience, which is why I am open to participating in an orchestra in college. Dance, as a part of the Dance Magnet program at Lee High School, has been one of my greatest challenges, teaching me to embrace effort and resilience. Track and field have mirrored this experience, revealing a personal passion that I did not find in dance.
As a student, I encounter many challenges, but I have learned to embrace them, finding strength in my relationship with God. My faith in Jesus has been a cornerstone in my journey. Receiving an academic or athletic offer would be a significant milestone, enabling me to continue nurturing my body and mind while advancing towards my goal of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon and the best version of myself.
