Hi! My name is Iva Nikolic, and I am a grade 11 student at Ross Sheppard High School in Alberta, Canada. What sets me apart is my drive for success, resilience, and responsibility. As a first-generation immigrant from Serbia, I was not given a life of savings or endless opportunities. Instead, I have had to carve my own path, learning the value of perseverance and ambition. Academically, I challenge myself in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, maintaining a 75% average despite its rigorous demands. My passion for justice and critical thinking drives me to pursue a career in Criminal Law, beginning with an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice. Beyond academics, my experiences have shaped my discipline, independence, and leadership. I embrace challenges head-on, using every obstacle as fuel for growth. With a relentless work ethic and a passion for advocacy, I am committed to making a lasting impact in both my athletics, education and future career.
