PERSONAL STATEMENT
I envision my college journey to be a time of exponential growth. I expect to be challenged both academically and athletically.
I will continue to study Mandarin and Chinese culture with the intention of immersing in the language and culture abroad. It is my intention to double major with Data Analytics or Economics for a concurrent BA or accelerated Masters.
Maintaining a positive mindset has provided tremendous success in my life. It is my goal to make the best of the present moment, keep my focus, make a positive impact, and lead by example. Life and running are far more enjoyable when it’s experienced and celebrated with a team.
As I continue to represent my state, school, coaches, and team on and off the track, I aspire to be the student/athlete that is a team player with a strong work ethic, and a desire to be challenged to be the best in any given moment.
I’m blessed to be a student-athlete with the will, drive, desire, and determination to compete.
