Izabella Jauregui '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, 

My name is Izabella Jauregui and I am a junior at Saint Joseph Notre Dame Highschool located in Alameda, California.  I have a weighted GPA above a 4.0 and take rigorous classes such as honors and AP classes. During cross country season I am the fast girl in my team with a time of 20:65 minutes for the 5k. I run the 100 meter, 200 meter, 4x100 relay and long jump. I just started doing long jump last year for the first time and placed 2nd overall. In soccer, I play the following positions: striker, right wing, and left wing. I started playing soccer during the winter season in 2023 and fell in love with the sport. My main sport is track, I started my freshmen year and the following year I added cross country to my list. I plan to run all for year for highschool and continue my running journey throughout college as well. I not only challenge myself in the track but also academically. I strive to do my best by taking classes that’s challenging me intellectually and put 100% in my work in and out the track. I am a hardworking, dedicated, and a proud Latina who hopes to be in the medical industry while also doing what I love, running.
