2016 St. Francis,...Going into my third year of running and my senior year in high school, I am looking forward to doing what I love while finishing my final year of high school. Although my life as a high schooler is going to end soon, I do not wish for my life as a runner to end. Running has become a passion of mine since I started my sophomore year and hope to never say goodbye to it. I feel I have much more potential and so much more joy to get out of running since I have only been running for 2 years if my career is extended to the collegiate level. The improvement in my times from sophomore year to junior year shows only a glimpse of how I am able to beat my old times and get better and better throughout my seasons. I did not just earn those times overnight though, I work extremely hard in school, at practice, and at competitions. I can ensure any coach, teacher, or leader that I will give my all, I will give my best, I will give my heart, I will give my everything. Work ethic is one of most passionate characteristics I like to say that I have and I am willing to work even harder than I have thus far. Continuing my athletic and academic career would make the college experience that much better and allow me to give my best to my team, coaches, and bring pride to my school.
