To say I love to compete would be an understatement, I have been in some type of competitive sport since a very young age. At the age of 3 and 4 I did gymnastics, then at 5 I started year-round competitive cheer thru the age of 12. I was able to compete at the cheer Nationals in Orlando, Florida with my youth 4 team placing 2nd in the nation. When I was 13 and 14, I joined acrobatic gymnastics competing with a level 8 Trio ending our season competing at the USA Gymnastics Championships in Greensboro, NC taking 9th in the nation. The following year we were moved up to a level 10. When I started High school, it was natural that I would tryout for the cheer team, where I have been blessed to be team captain for two years, on Varsity for 3 and All American for 2 taking me to Hawaii and this year Hawaii and London to perform.
My freshman year I would try Track, where I found I loved sprinting, so my main events would be the 100 and 200 meters and over the first couple years I would try the 4X100, 4X400, long jump, triple jump, and high jump. December of my junior year my parents talked me into trying Pole Vault and I am obsessed. I was lucky to be named one of our team captains’ junior year and named MVP. Summer of 2021, I qualified to attend the AAU Junior Olympics in Humble, TX where I competed in the 100M, 200M, 4X100 and High jump. Summer of 2022, I qualified to compete at The USATF Junior Olympics in Sacramento, CA competing in the 200M, 4X100 and Pole Vault. My goal for my final high school season is take the top spots on our school’s leader board jumping at least 13’.75” and running the 100M under 12.11.
My dream college experience is to be academically challenged, my interest of study would be something in forensics and or chemistry. I’m looking to find university with a hometown feel a lot of school spirit and community support of athletics. I’m hoping to find a college where I can continue to compete at the highest level of competition and have the support of great teammates and coaches!
A little unknown fact about me is I was homeschooled from 3rd to 8th grade.
