Hi, my name is Lexie and I originally started to run cross country 3 years ago to stay in shape for track. Not only did I learn to love the environment of distance running, but I also made so many great friends who I’m proud to call my teammates. Ever since covid hit I’ve learned to be more consistent in my training and will continue to apply that mindset to the upcoming seasons. This past year has also made me even stronger with more determination than ever to redeem myself from missed opportunities during the covid season. I am a very persistent person who will always strive for success; not only do I portray this onto myself, but I also enjoy motivating and encouraging others to do the same. Cross country, in particular, has taught me a countless amount of life lessons, and the team aspect of it all is without a doubt one of my favorite aspects of it. I've also learned about leadership and the important role it can play; seeing the upperclassmen work hard can inspire others, including myself, to work hard for our own goals.Thank you for your time!
