Personal Statement

My name is Kate Heppell and I have been running varsity Cross Country and Track & Field since the 6th grade. Following the influence of my family, I fell in love with this sport at a young age and through the years my competitive spirit has thrived in meets, team long runs, and countless workouts. I plan to study Environmental Science or Plant Sciences in college, later pursuing a career in Environmental Law or Agricultural Studies. I plan to run both in college and after, whether that be competitively or not.
