I started doing track my freshman year. Going into it I had no idea what I was going to compete in. My coaches sent me to hurdles and told me to learn how to do them and soon enough I became the best 300m hurdler on my team. Ever since then I’ve been putting my mind on college and scholarships now it’s a big dream/goal of mine to get college letters because it means to me that my hard work has paid off. Even on my rest days I wish I was out on the track hurdling. My determination and motivation levels are huge because I’ve always had to motivate myself to be better on my own. This year was my sophomore year and I hate to say I messed up with my grades big time. I started failing a couple classes because of things that were going on outside of school. All my life I’ve had nothing but almost straight A’s so it was a hard year to go through, but this junior year my mind is farther than focused. Whatever coach decides to read this I truly hope you consider picking me for your team, although I had that minor set back there’s a major comeback in my future this year. Thank you.
