Scarlett Alvarez '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a long-distance runner born in Madison, Wisconsin, who’s lived in downtown Chicago and currently resides in Charleston, SC.  I love long-distance running!  I started running in the fourth grade on my school’s cross-country team in Chicago. After attending a summer camp at IMG Academy, I decided to transfer there for my senior year to grow as a student-athlete.

I am loving my experience at IMG Academy.  In my most recent Individual Development Plan, my coaches said "Scarlett does not miss practice, is very open/eager to any workout we give her, and works hard every day.  All of this shows in how she has improved throughout the season", "Scarlett has a great attitude and has been a great a teammate throughout the season.  She contributes to the success of the team with her work ethic and attitude".

I am thrilled to be a part of IMG Academy‘s cross-country and track teams! I hope you will follow along as I continue to grow and improve as an athlete.
