Dear College Coaches
Hello, I’m Morgan Wade and I have been doing Track and Field and Cross Country since 2016. Since I started, my goal has always been to go to college and run at the collegiate level. I know that running in college is a great opportunity and could open up a lot of possibilities in the future. In Cross Country I’m currently running a 20:21 , which will only get better. In Track and Field, I achieve in the 800 with a time of 2:30 and the 1600 with a time of 5:26. I only hope to get better at my events and work hard to lower my times.
I have strong mental toughness, dedication, and interpersonal skills. I like to think of myself as a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be the best and one of the hardest working runners.
I work hard year round on my training, participating in the last several years on a AAU team, as well as High School Cross Country and Track and Field which all contribute to my athleticism.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a good GPA. I take several online classes on FLVS, along with attending regular school hours, while doing that i‘m also attending two practices a day. I believe my strict high school course load has helped to prepare me for the challenges of balancing college academics and athletics in the future.
I want to attend a college or university where I can push myself in the classroon and on my sports team. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match where I can strive to be the best. In college, I hope to major in Crimal Justice and find work in that field. This field of study is full of great opportunities and options where I can help others from law enforcement to working in the court system. I hope to be able to acheive all that I’ve mentioned.
