Karis Kraf '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Karis Kraf! I am in my senior year at Freedom High school. I started pole vault my junior year at the very start of the season because I thought it would be interesting and fun! Little did I know, my first meet ever I would vault 7’6ft and win 1st place. I knew after that moment that I would love this sport. I kept working hard throughout the season and seeing different coaches. My goal for that season was to make it to states and get a medal. I then competed at states and got 9th place with a new pr at 10’4ft, but just missed getting a medal. This summer of 2023 I was working hard and committed to practice and my job, which was hard to juggle but I made it work. My future goal is to compete at a collegiate level and to stay consistent with my vaults.
