My name is Samaria Aluko; I am 18 years old and I'm currently a Junior at Allatoona High School. I have a 4.04 GPA, and I am a Varsity Student Athlete. I plan on making a positive difference in the world. I want to major in Marketing where I can help rebuild our economy and make commercials or Forensic Pathology and work to find cures to diseases. I participate in Track & Field; I love track and would love to pursue it in college. I'm a hard-working student and I strive for the best and nothing less. As a kid, I loved racing my brothers and kids on the playground so my parents signed me up for Track. I started running Track when I was 9, but stopped for cheerleading. Five years later when I joined my High School Track team, I fell in love again. I remembered how much fun I had and never wanted to stop again. I want to continue running in college so that I can speed up my times, become the best athlete that I can be, and to never lose that feeling I get when I run. I never want to stop running again. And of course, I want to run in Rio 2016.
"The talent to be a great runner is a gift from God; utilizing that talent is a gift from you to yourself."
