I believe my best traits are time management, working hard, and helping others. While being a student-athlete I had to develop time management early. Juggling around the long cheer and track season, all while working a job, I've realized just how time-consuming it was. I believe I would make a good candidate for any track team because I'm a team player. There is never a time when I don't have a positive attitude. I love making people feel welcome on and off the track like they are family. This past track season, which was my first, I've learned to love the sport. I believe that I am a very coachable athlete, who likes to take criticism from my coaches to better perfect my craft of the sport. This leads to a hard-working and determined athlete who is willing to listen, who not only takes notes but puts in an effort. Although it is good to have a great attitude on the track, I think this exact trait should be displayed in the classroom as well. I'm currently a Junior in high school maintaining a 4.0 GPA all while taking AP and advanced courses. Being a student-athlete does not mean only excelling in your sport but to exemplify that same energy when doing your school work.
