Personal Statement

I started Track and Field as conditioning for football, but by the end of my first season I had discovered that have some skill in throwing and really enjoyed the comradery of the competitions. With hard work in the weight room for track and football season I found that I am stronger than I thought I was, mentally and physically. My study of martial arts over the last fourteen years has also helped me develop a high level of self discipline and my six years teaching as a black belt instructor has given me opportunities to grow as a leader.  I plan to maintain a 3.4 or better GPA which qualifies me for a HOPE scholarship in Georgia. I also plan on taking my work ethic into my college experience. I am looking for a college experience that will enhance my career in Business through academic and athletic experiences. I look forward to being able to compete at the collegiate level. I always try to strive to do my best in the things that I love. My dream would be to compete in the Olympics.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
